The hut, perched on the top of Vajolet Valley below Valbona Peak rocks, provides 14 beds and is opened at least from 20 June to 20 September. It is undergoing repair and enlargement works at the moment.

To arrive: from Gardeccia on paths n. 546 and 584 (2 hours). Recommended routes: crossing Larsec plateau, you can go down to Gardeccia taking path n. 583, called “Delle Scalette”, towards Passo di Lausa Pass and Passo delle Scalette Pass. In Val Duròn Valley, through Passo di Dona Pass and Passo delle Ciaregole Pass (path n. 578, 2 hours). Antermoia peak (3002 m) on Catinaccio, is to be reached by climbing an iron route on the eastern side (path n. 585, 2 h. 30 min.), or by passing through Antermoia Pass (2769 m) on path n. 584, which leads you to Passo Principe Hut (2601 m) and eventually to Vaiolet Hut.
