The hut, together with other buildings, is located in Ciampàc basin and provides 15 beds; it is opened from June to September and in winter season when the ski lifts are on service.
To arrive: by Ciampàc cableway from Alba di Canazei; path n. 644 (2 hours).
Recommended routes: to San Nicolò Pass; setting out from the hut, you hike across Colàc basin on path n. 646 till Forcia Neigra (2509 m), then you keep going on Val Contrin Valley side on path n. 613 till Passo San Nicolò Hut (2 h. 30 min.).
From Sass d’Adam peak (2430 m) you can enjoy a stunning sight on Trentino Dolomites. You may reach the peak by climbing up to Sella Brunèch (2428 m) on path n. 644, and then by an easy ridge path (path n. 613). You can climb down from Sella Brunèch to the lonely green Val Giumela Valley (path n. 644) till to Buffaure Hut (2050 m), which is connected to Pozza di Fassa by cable-car (1 h. 30 min.).
